Kingdom Come - Adams

The nun from the church walked down the wooded streets of Kingdom Come. She spots Lady Rose. 

"Hello child, we have missed you at service for many moons now."

"I see no reason to go to church and pray to a god that hasn't helped me ever in my life." 

The nun clicks her tongue at Rose. 

"Tread carefully child, you may anger the gods."

Rose shakes the Nun off and walks back in the house. She didn't need haunted tales of imaginary creatures. 

Late in the night the Adams welcomed a little girl, Tilly. She had her parents skin with hair the color of a raven and eyes as blue as the ocean. She was gorgeous. 

Shannon takes a look at his daughter and immediately falls deep in love. This little girl would do right by the family he just knew it. 

The family fell into a routine. Rose had told her husband Shannon about the things the nun had said to her, just like her he shook it off. No god could touch them when they were filthy rich or royalty and Shannon was making sure that was happening. 

The crops yielded great plants and it was Tilly's birthday. Everyone was excited about her growing up. 

And like her parents thought she grew up beautiful. 

Winter ended with Rose learning how to plant more things for the next harvest. It would mean a variety of things they could eat which made Rose very happy.
