Kingdom Come - Year 501 - Part 5

Alf had a shady past. He wasn't the nicest man or even a good man but he was a loyal man. He heads to the campgrounds to wait for his contact.

Sitting on the bench thinking of all the ways he could kill the Raiders.

Finally his contact comes and he gets up. This man would tell him everything he needed to know.
"So?"
"We didn't see her, if they have her they are keeping her well hidden. This isn't a war you want Alf. They are ruthless and if you are to lose they will enslave your women and children. This is all just fun for them. Leave them alone. Take your loses and continue on with your life."
"Bullshit they didn't take her. Who else would of done so? There is no one else that would take an innocent child. Either way, I've never been scared of a little fight."
"This isn't a fight Alf, this is a war."
With an eye roll Toby leaves mumbling under his breathe. He knew his dear friend had heard nothing or if he did he didn't care. He was one stupid bastard.

"Oh I hate that guy, he is the biggest orf to ever live."
"Who?" Manuel turns around to see Resa's brother Alf. Before he could say anything else Tiffany was stomping over there to confront him.

It didn't go well for Tiffany. Not only did he slap her around he and everyone else in the crowd laughed at her.
"Stupid woman. Don't you know better then to attack a man!" With tears in her eyes Tiffany runs home to tell her husband.

Jess walks outside to see his wife coming home from another 'long walk' she often went on these walks hoping to find Sari. Everyone she talked to said the Raiders didn't have her daughter but she could be no where else.
"We are going to find her my dear."
"Oh just think of all the horrible things that could be happening to her right now. She has been gone almost all winter. What am I to do?" Jess pulls his wife in close. Stroking her hair and whispering sweet nothings into her ear.

Suky was sad about her sister but she had other problems. The big Christmas celebration was coming up and she didn't have a date. Thankfully her friend came through for her at the last moment.

Alf had been busy. This winter he had written the royals in the town over, claiming the Raiders were rampant. The royals promised to send some knights down that way to train him and anyone else that wanted to be apart of the guard.

Winter was coming to a close, Suky was no longer a child and was often made to study at home for hours. Her mother wanted to ensure she would make a good wife one day and no man wanted to be with a woman that couldn't whip up a meal in a hurry.
