Oregon Trail - 1.0

  We had been on the trail for only an hour before we had to stop. Those blasted Damnon's always needed a break. We had a hard ride ahead of us, 5 weeks in a cabin on wheels before we got to our destination. If we stopped every 5 minutes we would never make it on time.  "Since we are stopped how about some lunch?" Mary my wife looked up at me and with thin lips headed into the cabin on wheels to fix us something.  Lunch was great but it wasn't too long before Mr. Damnon came over to lolligag around with my boy. I decided I would let them play a game or two of catch before we headed off again and this time I would not be stopping.  By Wednesday morning we came across a fork on the road. The map didn't tell me which one to take. Nervous about taking the wrong way I took a deep breathe. I chose right and thankfully it was the correct way. My wife and child didn't know the type of stress that was involved in these things. While at a short break my wife finds two s
