Lanier Household
Welcome to the last household of Summer and the last sim we added with our cas points <3 This is Butterball aka Sophia Lanier. I gave her a makeover some time ago and she has become a staple in our community so I added her in as a playable!
She starts in the laundry room of her apartment building just standing there, again why are my sims always OUTSIDE somehow.
We have shit to do though so I send her to her house to practice some programming. Butterball is opening an internet cafe so she needs the programming skill and Video gaming skill maxed out.
While hacking for her life she learns she is a libertarian..
And while she is busy I snoop around through her life. She has level 7 mixology skill.. HOW? When? WHERE? Anyway,
I also see she knows all the important playeres, people who are around a lot like Sandy, Remember Sandy. Anyway, I see she is beefing with Sofia? Why? Again, a whole lot of whys with Butterball LOL.
Her needs tank because I am a Sim Driver but this lady shows up at the door and I have Sophia greet her. We never see this lady again.
Sophia had a whim to plant a community garden so I plop down some raised beds and have her go collect some plants.
The welcome wagon finally comes but.. what is going on with my sims and their skin??
Sofia was apart of that welcome wagon party and this was Sophia face the whole time. "Bish Whet" I get it. Sofia Joy is opening a club venue in town whenever she maxes her dang skills!
I spot Eli trying to ride a bike through town, he made it maybe two peddle pushes forward before he abandoned the cause. Worthless.
Sophia maxes the programming skill pretty fast but she was level 4 when we started.
Tom wanders by and I renew my vow to adopt THIS dog into the Way household..
Video Gaming skill is next and Sofia is on it.
With all this techy energy she is rewarded the Geek trait.
Here is where things went haywire. Sofia maxed the video gaming skill while on a date with the woman you see sitting here.
Can't see her face but this is Sandy after a makeover. My game stopped taking pictures randomly and I missed A LOT. This was their first date. After this Sofia spent that 15k on an Internet Cafe and they went to check it out together. Sofia comes home goes to bed and the next morning she catches Eli outside. Those two are BFFs and Partners in Crime. Butterball was like hell I unlocked something let me have a baby. SO her and Eli had a science baby. FLAG ON THE PLAY. That was my mistake because you need a science lab and a Hospital to have one of those. I just used my Cas point for my mistake.
That same day that Sophia had her illegal science baby, Sandy hit her up about coming over. Sophia was like sure. They woohoo'd and fell deeply in love. Sandy popped the question and asked to move in back to back. Welcome to the community Sandy!
With a baby and a Fiancée that little ass apartment was not going to cut it anymore. The couple takes a loan out for 44k and move to this cute house. It's 2 bedroom and big enough for the whole family. Their minimum mortgage is 2243 that they have to pay everytime I play them.
I wanted my sims to be able to move into whatever home they wanted not just what they could afford so I came up with a mortgage system in my game instead of taxes like you would do traditionally with a city building challenge. Price of the home divided by 20. I'm pretty sure I will play them about that many times and if not.. well I will track it another way I guess.
The only other couple in town that has this type of relationship is Claudia and Care. I love this for them.
The ladies settle into their new home with lots of flirting (which Sophia hates) and some woohoo.
Here is the child of Sophia and Eli - Shawn Lanier-Lay.
I learned that Sophia likes green hair so I change Sandy hair color and then send her to go write childrens books since she is going to open a library.
Sophia does most of the childcare because Sandy does all the cooking because Sophia doesn't like cooking and refuses to do it. >.>
It was at THIS moment I realized who that lady was that we never saw again. She was the delivery driver lady from the restaurant so that Sophia would have something to eat.
OKAY. We have successfully completed another full season here in Sunset Bay. We have a full cas of sims and a great total population.
