Winterstorm - Summer 1

Welcome to my newest Random Build a City Challenge. We are starting with 1 family (Grandparents with 1 teen) as that is what I rolled. 

LTR - Opal Jones, Tanya Jones, Geo Jones, Opals Winter Jones and Sean

The family makes it to the large island of Winterstorm but Sean and Winter had a plan. 
16 years ago they got pregnant young and had Opal. All of the partying had to stop and Winter had to marry Sean. Now the pair wanted to live their lives and what better way then to pretend to move to a remote island with your parents. 

Opal and Tanya were two sides of the same coin so when Winter and Sean snuck out the pair didn't notice. 

"Nana, where's mom? She and dad said they would be right back but its been a while."
Tanya looked out the window of her front door and knew. Damn that child of hers. 

They fucking left me. Sons of bitches. 

Opal tried her best not the be too mad about it. After all it was summer time so she didn't have anything better to do. She started studying as she really wanted to go to college. 

Geo, disappointed in his child but excited to have his granddaughter, started his garden. There was nothing here not even a grocery store. 

Tanya: Now baby I don't mean to burst your bubble but I doubt your mom and dad are coming back at the end of summer.
Opal: I'm sure they are Nana, they are still young and just wanted a break for the summer. 
Tanya just shook her head not wanting to hurt the girls feelings. 

Geo and Tanya, though having been married for 40 years, acted like teenagers together. 

Opal loved it and wanted that but she did not want to see her grandparents in their tidy whiteys. She heads outside to the car her grandfather bought.

The saddest part about summer is when the phone would ring Opal would damn near fly to it and answer hoping it was her parents. (It never was)

Opal: They aren't coming back are they?
Tanya: No baby. I am so sorry. You are stuck with me and pawpaw for the next 2 years. 


After that the Summer passed with little incident. Geo worked on his garden day and night, Tanya painted to earn a bit of extra money. Tanya decided to open a small school to teach her granddaughter a thing or two. 

Opal: Hey Pawpaw, do you need any help?
Geo: Oh no no. Thank you sweet girl. 

Opal was bored. Her grandparents were fantastic but she couldn't do this forever she would go crazy. And even though it was only 2 more years for Opal that felt like forever. 

Summer finally ended and now it would be fall. The school was open and ready for young Opal to learn.

So first I want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOOLPROP. This community has been my saving grace through a lot of hard times in my life whether they were aware or not.  Because it is Boolprop's birthday they created a new challenge.. Goddess wanted to tell this update so this will be all her. [side eye] It was my first born's birthday. I couldn't believe I would have a teenager. I loved all my kids, from every save and game. Gage grew up handsome. I mean just beautifully made. He had my skin, his dads eye and hair color.  He rolled pleasure, with a like for young adult girls who wore a lot of makeup. He didn't like blondes. Thank goodness.  I was doing great in my career, and even got another promotion. I knew soon I would be head of the mafia.  My beautiful son was following in my footsteps and got a job in the criminal career.  My husbands career was touch and go honestly and I rarely kept up with it. I had my own organization to run.  My boys were close. Best friends, the way I wanted it to be.
